Many did not find that move palatable, especially coming from whom some deemed as a half-baked lyricist. Once he shed the skin of a Cash Money second-class citizen to ultimately stage a polite coup and brand takeover, Weezy transformed from the student to the YMCMB teacher. Lil Wayne has always been a polarizing figure, though.
